Constituantes de l’IPR :
- Indices de crédit
- Indices d’endettement
- Indices démographiques
- Indices intra-métriques
These indices reveal about the debtor:
- His ability to pay
- His propensity to declare bankruptcy
- His/her probability of paying the debt
- His contact information
- The contact strategy to be deployed
- Suggested discount to encourage settlement
For example, a record of 6212PRI, indicates that he is in the 62.12 percentile (62.12%) of debtors with the highest probability of paying. The debtor’s credit status is good but deteriorating and his chances of filing for bankruptcy are imminent. This suggests that the debtor is meeting its obligations but has reached its credit limits. The wise creditor will address this claim quickly, before the debtor files for bankruptcy, and may grant a discount in return for prompt payment by the debtor. Again, the PRI is intuitive, it informs and places the discount at $38.88 per $100 – a settlement of 62.12% of the amount owed (i.e., $621.20 on a $1,000 claim).
